To say the raven femora had been lax in her attention of the herd was an understatement. Eyes that shown like crystal while all seeing had seen nothing of the troubles her fellow herd mates had endured. Lost in memory along with the all-consuming want for companionship, the shadow-incased female had let troubles go unattended and others left alone. This would no longer do… Lithe frame, spry despite age, slipped between shadow and sun as the boarder was patrolled. Finding nothing of interest steps were taken to bring the femora deeper into the valley, seeking out someone to converse with. She would have taken kindly to the appearance of Starlight but the sight that greeted her instead was that of Moon Maiden, now grown, and seemingly with foal and the appearance of two others. Soft whicker was produced as the femora came forward – curious as to who was the sire but knowing already that it could not be one within the herd, BattleCry the only whom could be present to achieve such and while it sounded ill to think, she knew he had not gone off to sow his oats so wildly. Concerned as to this event Moonlight approached, though stopped a distance away to allow all three the chance to evaluate the situation – much like she. Never would she turn another away who was in need, but the fact remained that there was an unknown entity about, and he was already producing chaos and trouble abroad. “Friends.” The only word issued as she waited for Moon Maiden to speak first. The others were welcome to address, but Maiden was the one whom Moonlight most cared to speak with at this time. Name whispered against the wind: Moonlight I am of the: Fairer Sex I have the features of a: Quab (Quarter/Arabian) I am painted the color of: the midnight sky I am marked by: the Cresent moon on my forehead and nothing more I’ve lived upon this Earth: 10+ years I belong to: No one I rest my weary bones within: Hopeful Valley |
