Subject: The Ultimate Other Memory..

You know that detail has always kept my mind stirring. What if it's used to create an army of all the mythic heroes of the Duniverse. I mean hell why create a Leto-ghola when you can create a Paul, a Leto, a Duncan, a Gurney, a Ghanima, a Vorian, a Xavier...

The possibilities are endless. I think that whatever purpose it's used for it's definately to battle the evil that is coming but I don't think it's to create another prescient nightmare. Leto himself said that his vision was to create a world where prescience held no sway over human destiny.

I also think Duncan is the key to that. And if the 'ancient' enemy is a robot/Omnius/Erasmus/something of that nature then how fitting that Duncan could have all the memories of his prolonged ghola-life as well as an other memory prior to that. He would be older than Omnius/robot itself, which is the 'thinking machines' terrible advantage over humanity. What if in creating the succession of Duncan's Leto gave humanity the edge it needed to overcome the 'ancient enemy.'

I have long held the thought that Leto's golden path was far far more than people imagined it to be.
