Apparently, it doesn't necessarily take a male to look into Male other memories.
I say this because in the later novels the Reverend Mothers with Atreides genes have male ancestral memories they can access. It is the Atreides genes that make this possible. Don't ask me why.

Also for clarification Abomination is when one is possessed. I don't think that the Reverend Mother's were worried about Abomination by looking into the place that "terrifies" them. I think they were just worried about having their brains melt down or something (this is assuming Crysknife's theory is correct).

Also I am suprised after we all argued so hotly about whether or not Paul had Other Memory, that you would think everyone with Male and Female Other Memory would qualify to be a Kwisatz Haderach. Most of you guys thought that Paul didn't have OTher Memory at all but still thought he was the Kwisatz Haderach.
Other Memory isn't the ONLY thing that makes a Kwisatz HAderach in my opinion.
