Subject: RESULTS Round 5 (Hands in the) Back to Grassroots round

The RFL Commission is in dissarry this week following a controversial round of games where serious flaws in its rules have been exposed, and pathetic umpiring efforts have thrown up some serious credibility issues. This combined with the games results issues from last week has stretched the resources of the commission during the week.

The Commission this week has been so tied up with putting out off and on field fires that this weeks scores have been compiled by a work experience student who was dragged away from the porn he was surfing to actually do some work.

Not the least occupying the mind of the commission is the law suit and personal injuries claim lodged on Monday morning by 15 Gunners Stadium members, who are claiming damages for injuries ranging from broken toes to concussion as a result of the havoc caused by Adam McPhee as he ran wide of the boundary line to take his kick at Gunners stadium on Saturday night. The RFL Commission believes it has no case to answer as umpires boss Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf has come out and said that the umpire on the night was right, and the members will be fined for trespassing.

Meanwhile in other developments, the Commission has been dealing with questions from Laxatives president as to the treatment of their star forward. Fans on the night nearly rioted as Animals captain was presented with the Ben Kingsley/Peter Sellers cup that is played for whenever these two teams compete. Laxatives Coach Rooter, said you would have to ask the 300,000 who were there why they were booing, however he was sure if anyone looked at the tape of the game the answers would be there. Once again these questions were referred to the umpires boss with Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf stating that all decisions made by the umpires were correct and within the rules. No case to answer. Party Animals coach Molly Gudinski smugly claimed the 4 points as Laxatives forward Barry Hall was nailed to the goal post all night without the umpires noticing the clear breach of the rules of the game.

Gunners coach Horse Longman has come out in defence of the rules, stating that if applied as intended he could see the day when his star forward would kick 20 goals in a game, and thats really what the fans want. Longman did however take a swipe at the umpires stating that his "Captain Untouchable" Chris Judd was still not getting enough protection from the umpires despite assurances from umpires boss Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf that he is on the list of protected players and should get favourable treatment from the umpires.

Full details of the Round 5 (Hands in the)Back to Grasroots round will be posted by the commission later.
