Subject: Why worry about the p-g coverage, you can go online and find the trib and greenbay papers with stories, and also the duquesne website. I can follow this team from 1,000 miles away in Florida with out KDKA Sports giving the score.
In reply to: Phoenix Rising 's message, "Agreed. I can understand papers not sending a reporter to Green Bay. But not to pay a stringer a hundred or two hundred $ to write a real game story, & not use wire service reports, is neglectful. Regarding performance, we have as much relevance in NCAA D-1 basketball (ranked in the 2nd quartile) as compared to Pitt football in the BCS (ranked in the 2nd quartile). Going to NIT and CBI is equal to going to Meineke and BBVA bowls. I'm not saying that we HAVE the same relevance and deserve the same coverage, but give us the recognition and respect for what the Dukes have and are accomplishing." on Friday, December 10, 09:40:34am
