Subject: phildogg, it doesn't affect me or you since we're already Dukes fans. We will seek out information on our team. But good newspaper coverage creates a buzz with the average sports fan. A game story would have generated more interest in the Dukes than the afterthought that the PG gave to us. It might have sparked an interest in purchasing tickets to see the Dukes go up against a Final Four team from WVU at the Consol.
In reply to: philldogg 's message, "Why worry about the p-g coverage, you can go online and find the trib and greenbay papers with stories, and also the duquesne website. I can follow this team from 1,000 miles away in Florida with out KDKA Sports giving the score." on Friday, December 10, 10:10:58am
