Try staying on point. My post was about the reporter implying that the Broward coach was not being honest and possibly on the take. That comment was poor and border line irresponsible. As has been pointed out elsewhere, Kansas State and Texas Tech made similar donations. No mention of either in the story. There's a lot of circumstantial information that tells me some things were done that should have been done better, but certainly nothing illegal or dishonest.     - I'm not sure what your point is about checks and balances. There is, or should be, fact checking. Is that what you mean? I didn't question the accuracy or inaccuracy of anything in the story; I'm saying that there was information out there, readily available to the reporter (because he took other information from it as well), and they were not included in the article.
