Yep- people are feeling this squeeze for sure. Now driving a big SUV or being a "concrete cowboy" with a huge truck might not be so appealing for the masses.

As someone who has been in the landscaping business, I really used (and needed) my F-250. But that was back when diesel was a dollar a gallon. Now, there is NO WAY I would be able to swing that. I mean, hauling a 16 foot trailer full of 8X8 pressure treated fence posts- let's be honest- you need a 3/4 ton truck.

Diesel is almost 5 bucks a gallon here in FL, and gas is not far behind. As stated in a previous post, people are starting to look at function rather than fashion. Hence the Honda Civic 'dethroning' the Ford F series.

Prolly gonna get worse before it gets better. Hang on.
