hey don't take offense. What kind of bad experience would it take for me to think that's what the name sounds like? That's just what popped into my head. I was just putting in my say. At least i didn't just say "hey that name blows"

and about the paradox name, I don't have the official word on this, but i don't think it would be ANYTHING like a franchise. I seriously doubt he's actually selling the name. Jeff Suffering has been part of the indie scene for many years. the Paradox was one of Seattle's best all-ages clubs for years, and it started when there were barely any. It wouldn't be a franchise as much as being part of an organization, where bands could find a number of Paradox's, which would make for an easier time booking a tour, and they can count on not getting screwed.

I totally know that Chuck and Sue have some of the best ethics and treat the bands amazingly. That is one of the things the Paradox also is known for. If they did the Paradox name, and if this whole thing took off, they would instantly have a good reputation. They would probably get alot more out of town bands contacting them. Also, the Paradox was all-ages, no drugs, no alchohol, no violence from day one, just like the Zone.

Again, I'm not completely in the know here. If you want, talk to josh vega, he's the guy who told me about Jeff's idea.
