It was quite a stylish suite that he lived in - two stories with a winding spiral staircase up to the top floor where an office and the bedrooms were.   The date was approaching and he was getting more and more wound up which didn't fare well with his firey latina bride less and less comfortable as his children grew in her, she had wanted to knock heads more than once and he'd had to talk himself out of engaging her just because. It might have had to do with the fact that he was doing almost all of his work for the club from home now so that he could be with her - they even had packed a bag to take to the hospital.. he was one hundred percent prepared on all landscapes except emotionally he was a mess. He'd been spending some time with some of his extensive family's younger members, trying to get a feel for what it would be like to be responsible for two tykes, but he could hardly imagine his bad boy self as a daddy... then again, he could hardly have imagined his bad boy self as a husband up until a few months ago.

  • The fact that he was being so placating when she knew without a doubt that she was being a bitch drove her crazy. He had never been a whipping boy before and she didn't want one now. She was uncomfortable, grumpy and pissy and she wanted him to be the same that she could get out some of this need to yell and grump. Currently she was sitting on the couch, eyeing him as he did his work at the desk. Honestly, she didn't think it would be that big of a deal if he just went to work a few nights a week and got everything done there that needed to be done.   The last few weeks had been blissful, but he was feeling a bit nervous. It seemed like it was yesterday that Diamond had told him that she was pregnant, and it seemed like she would be having the babies tomorrow, at the rate she was growing, and the way the nursery was expanding. He had had to bring in another crib and an extra rocking chair, and he was still working on it a bit -- it had been more or less finished months ago, but with the news of a second baby, he was now considering even repainting the room. "Well no, I'm just saying, yellow is kinda a universal color, so whether it's a boy and a girl or two boys or two girls, it still works, right? That's what the magazines say anyways.."

  He was really trying to put forth an effort, make her feel happy, at home and comfortable about this entire pregnancy thing. When they'd lost the first baby, he'd returned the crib and put away the things in the nursury, but today he'd taken a day off from the clubs and was putting it back together again - a crib, a different style from the one they'd had before, spread out in pieces on the floor around him as he looked at the directions, dressed only in a white 'beater and a pair of tearaway trackpants, his brow furrowed, dark hair mussed - the other one had been a cinch, but this one was.. fancier, he supposed.

  • There was a slight curve to her small form these days and her appetite had certainly been growing. The noise that accompanied her opening the door bore proof that she had brought home the nephews and niece with her. The twins adored Fallon - Romeo thought he was the biggest guy in the world, even bigger then Kaleb and that was pretty big.   It had been about two weeks since she had taken the test and since then she had gone to the doctors and done everything right this time. She was taking her vitamins religiously, eating right although sometimes giving into her cravings for fatty, greasy foods. A low breath escaped her lips as she pursed them and tried to think about anything other then how good a whopper from burger king sounded. She wasn't sure still how Fallon felt about all this and she still believed that everything that happened was her fault and everyone was blaming her. Sitting at the bar, she ran her fingers over a bottle of hennessey that was sitting there before she twisted the cap back onto it from it had been left off the night before - probably Fallon had just forgotten about it - and put the bottle back into the cooled cupboard. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked around boredly, trying to figure out what to do with herself that day.

  • He'd been attending to some day time business around the clubs - toying with them helped him fill up his days, made him feel important - he wasn't quite so in demand now as he had been when he was running drugs, and it almost wounded his pride. He let himself in quietly, expecting her to be taking a nap or doing yoga or something else equally quiet, but was surprised to find her at the bar.   He was sat in his office working on some paperwork, a pair of wire rimmed glasses perched on his nose delicately. He lifted them, rubbing his hands across his eyes - everytime he sat down to work he got distracted by one thought - the wedding. It dominated his mind - he was excited to be married to her but he was particularly concerned about himself, his behaviour - messing up, looking ridiculous in the wedding photos.   She made her way in with something absolutely shocking - little baby Greg - well not quite a baby anymore, he was a full blown toddler who babbled and toddled around and drooled all over the little fist that he had shoved into his mouth. She set him down on the floor, brushing her hand over his head lightly before she smiled gently. "Fallon?" She hadn't been anywhere near a baby since they lost theirs, but she was starting to heal and thus feel better about being around the toddler. In fact, she had been going over some wedding plans that morning with her mama and Gabriella - it felt good to be feeling like a human being again. Setting down the diaper bag, she winked down at the baby, leaning down to hold his little hand as they headed into the living room. "You home?"   • He was just getting out of the shower and emerged around the corner with a towel tied around his waist, another smaller one being rubbed vigorously through his dark hair. He stopped nearly dead in his tracks when he saw the little boy - he hadn't even thought about any babies besides the one they'd lost since the whole event.. and this one, to say the least, shocked him a little bit.
