• The fact that he was being so placating when she knew without a doubt that she was being a bitch drove her crazy. He had never been a whipping boy before and she didn't want one now. She was uncomfortable, grumpy and pissy and she wanted him to be the same that she could get out some of this need to yell and grump. Currently she was sitting on the couch, eyeing him as he did his work at the desk. Honestly, she didn't think it would be that big of a deal if he just went to work a few nights a week and got everything done there that needed to be done. • He could feel her eyes practically burning a hole in him and stopped mid signature to look up at her over the rims of his reading glasses which hardly ever saw the light of day. He raised a brow and observed her for a moment before he finally spoke. "Are you going to kill me now or are you just plotting?" She looked sour with him, which was nothing new but what he was getting accustomed to - whether it was playful or serious, and he shook his head. "Should I just lay down and play dead or try and find the secret diary you're hiding about the ways you're going to kill me?" He couldn't help but let a sneaky little grin tip the corner of his lips, he loved her when she was pissed - he loved her when she was happy, all around it was a pretty win win situation for her. • "I am not that dumb. I don't write down my plots." She stated as she stuck her tongue out at him and the shifted to rest her head back against the couch, just content watching him. He was such a good looking guy, completely massive and looking just a little out of place in the smaller desk chair that was huge for her but still just a size to small for his frame. A low breath escaped her lips as a small smile tipped her lips and her eyes moved over him lovingly. "Aren't you tired of working from home? Don't you miss the hustle and bustle of the club?" • He laughed and let his eyes drop back down to the cheque he was signing, finishing his signature and shaking his head. "Part of me misses that but the other part of me wants to be here the second you need to go to the hospital, and unless you let me know exactly when that will be so I don't have to worry and guess, then I guess I am working from here." He shrugged a little bit and put his pen down, drawing his eyes back up to her again. "Why? Are you getting sick of me, yet? • "Believe me, baby, if I could I would pop them both out right now for ya but they don't really seem to be in to much of a hurry." She smirked gently, tipping her head to the side as she watched him from across the room. "Besides, isn't that the reason we have modern technology? • He nodded in agreement about the cellphone bit but didn't say what he was thinking - all it took was for him to be twenty minutes, ten minutes away from her and for something to go wrong. He didn't think she could handle it, or he could, if he let her down again. He watched her a moment, his mind absent from the present and flickering back to that awful night in the hospital before coming back to the moment at hand. "Alright then, it's decided... • She smiled warmly, she thought he could read her mind at times. She didn't want him to go in the morning, that was there time when they lingered in their big bed, cuddling and talking and planning and sometimes a little bit more action than conversation. "That sounds perfect. I am thinking...." She pursed her lips, going through all the take out places around before she suddenly spoke up again. "I am hungry now, actually." He smirked, teasing her and let his book fall shut with the pen stuck in the middle so that he could pick it back up after he'd spent some quality time with her. He rose from his chair and headed into the kitchen after her, catching her from behind and wrapping her in his strong arms to place his hands on her swollen belly. Craning his neck over her shoulder, he peered at her belly. "Helloooo in there.... you're making your mommy fat." He grinned up at Di and then pressed a kiss to her neck. "And voluptuous." • Her jaw dropped probably straight down clear to her 'volumptous' chest. "Well. I have suddenly lost my never ending hunger. Maybe my body can just feed off of all the fat!" She huffed, her brow furrowed as she stared down at her belly. Alright, so she had put on quite a bit of pounds but she had two living humans inside of her pete's sake! Her eyes narrowed, huffing again. "You've put a bit of weight on yourself buddy and you don't have the excuse of having two babies to use either!!" So, her husband was pretty much the picture of perfection in both looks and body and any weight he had put on was probably added muscle but still. You just didn't say things like that. • His jaw dropped and he backpeddled as fast as he possibly could, stammering for a moment before he came out with.. "... but baby, it's the good kind of curvy, voluptuous, yummy.. fat. You know?!" His eyes widened as he attempted to get his point across and reached for the freezer door. "Are you sure you don't want anything? We just stocked up on chocolate chip cookie dough...." • "Yummy fat?? That's disgusting." He was saying this to a girl who weighed a mere ninety pounds in the height of her coke addiction. "I don't want any cookie dough! It will just make me more voloputous!" She frowned, her hand going down to her stomach. "It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't two of them!" She pouted lightly, her lower lip jutting out slightly as she sighed deeply, obviously unhappy now with the way her figure had developed through her pregnancy. He spoke seriously, and then the tone changed towards playful. "Besides, didn't you know that 80% of guys prefer a girl with curves to one that is stick thin." And it was true - she was getting healthier now than he had ever seen her and she looked great - along with the pregnancy glow she'd picked up, she was easily the hottest girl he'd ever been with anyways.... but he was a bit biased now that she was his wife. It was like music to the savage beast, this shopping business and he was glad of what seemed to be an endless supply of money coming in from the club which was beginning to become very very successful, even if he wasn't there every second to control every minute detail.
