I can find excuses for almost all of the characters in this scene; Xander was in shock, Anya was angry about Xander, Willow & Dawn realized that Buffy was not herself, etc. I find it very hard to find anything good to say about Kennedy (she did save Willow in "The Killer in Me", so I'll give her some credit for that).

She argues that Buffy should listen to her, but how did she handle authority when she was training the other Potentials ? Buffy may not have learned all the girls names, but at least she knew they weren't named "maggot".

In the mutiny scene, Kennedy discounts Buffy's seven years of experience; and within a day, she tells Faith that the girls who have been there longer ( about 2 weeks longer ) should have a say. Kennedy's solution to every problem seems to be "pay more attention to me". She spins every situation to suit her own agenda, which seems to have less to do with the greater good than with her own drive to control people. IMHO, it's no accident that she's named after a politician.
