No, I mean in general. Vampirism had been used as a sexual signifier for 5 seasons. And then in the 6th you have a vampire, who had been used as a comic foil for two seasons, actually become a sexual predator and rapist, not just a metaphor for questionable sexual choices. Other examples abound. When you make that shift, you lose the parody, and you can't mine the humor of the situation.
