Subject: Age in BtVS

I am writing my thesis on Buffy right now, and I thought I knew all the episodes very well....but as it turns out, as soon as I think of something specific, I have no idea where to even start looking for it.

I know that at several instances, Buffy or Giles mentions that no slayer before her ever even reached her age, slayers usually die young, etc.
Can anyone think of which episode that occured in?
