.. faint smile played on her lips, and as they flew past the marker for the first mile, she pressed the button on the stopwatch, raising in the sturrips. feeling the pressure on the bit, she changted her mind, croaching again, and letting the confused filly run. back and hands moved with the Thoroughbred, reins steady even through the series of bucks. as Bel'Tine slowed, she leapt from her, back, tugging the reins over her head and keeping the mare moving, reassuring pats on the shoulder as she gazed at the stopwatch in something not short of wonder..
