KAkrine and her sisters never asked to be powerful.... they knew the issues on their lives when they agreed to help protect- that is why none of them have bothered looking for love. ~+~*he looked up, and you could see tears threatening to spill out over his eyes.*~+~ any guardian, gatekeeper, messenger, spirit, or even mere page for the spirits..... we all share the same restrictions in life. one of those has hurt me very deeply....... the girl who swore herself to me.... that was not just infatuation, we were a life-bonded pair. one of the restrictions is that a life-bonded pair in the spiritual realm shares a single soul. so.... when she was killed, half of me died- literally. she took with her all of my feelings of love, trust, and joy. she also took with her every scrap of hope i had ever had. to put it simply, i do not have a heart to search in.... it sleeps in a shallow grave with my love...... that is why spirits seldom involve themselves unless they are sure it is a life-bonding. otherwise, it only makes them weaker and easier for others to overthrow them.... ~+~*he banged the back of his head against the wall a few times. when he was done with his bout of insanity, he pointed at the blood leading to the corner where you had found him.*~+~ .....i got into a fight elsewhere on this moon. something called a Ravens Tear, some black demon that crawled out of the sky. claimed to have been sent to find me. it was a very brief fight, really- but he did manage to tear a piece of my arm out and poison me, so i warped here before the poison took effect. ~+~*he looked down at his arm.*~+~ i do not know what you did, but you seemed to have taken the poison from me and mended my body..... for that i thank you.... ~+~*he stood up again. this time he stood at his full height. he was slightly taller than Vincent was, which was a bit creepy.*~+~ .....i wish for death, yes- but i do not want to die that way... at the hands of the creatures created by the shadows. if i can help it.... i wish to live long enough to see the Spirit River free of souls..... i am an incarnation of the Eyre, so if i could get there, i could free them..... my friends are there, i know.... they died un clean deaths, with regrets and anger inside of them. i want to free them before i pass..... i can not die until i have at least done that for them...... ~+~*the little locket around his neck flared again, this time visibly through his shirt- but you went cross eyes when you tried to focus on the light. you had to shield against those damned clothes. you stared into his eyes while the locket was flareing, and saw a flash of.... something... you could not quite pin point what it was that you had saw. there was something odd about that...... did Treyvan have an alternate form? you shuddered to think what it would be, if he was the living incarnation of the source of existance. you wondered at that as well. you did not doubt him, there was a strong spiritual energy around him, and spirits never lied.*~+~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
