Terry, thanks for venting. I went on there to see what you were talking about and you are right, it is pretty pitiful. Although predictable. And seeing the pattern for so long, I would have to say that unless something is not done soon, it is only going to get worse. I used to argue with Norman about having to have patience with changing the mentality of some people in regards to proving stock through testing. He would argue that there is not enough time. It's obvious that he is smarter and wiser than I am, because a year later, his prediction seems to be coming true. And the proof is in the pudding. As another example of him being correct, I have also noticed the amount of backlash that he gets because of his views. Accusing the sport that Norman trains for on a daily basis (the most well respected method of evaluating a working protection dog) of being a "theatrical repetition excercise" and most recently a well known breeder saying, "That pup is not a boerboel. Not the colour nor the head is boerboel" about Normans dog. Even if Normans dog was a crossbred, mutt from the pound, just by seeing and hearing about Normans pup and how it is doing, I would rather have that dog, than a "real purebred Boerboel" that according to this same breeder was rated the best Boerboel of 2003!!! I wonder what best means? Maybe best at holding down patio bricks? Or maybe it was because of its incredible obediance routine? You know, it probably did a long down for the judges. I mean a loooonnnng, looonnng down. Sh*t a year later, it's probably still there..........frozen in a solid state of "natural obediance". :)

Sorry.....can't help it. I also have gas.......damn pizza.
