I think somewhere the point has been lost the assoc. has a set of standards. The problem seems to be the registery is owned by one person and every time the registery is sold the standards are beening changed by one person to meet their ideas of the breed. There needs to be some kind of a partnership between the two to stop this kind of a disagreement before a split happens and neither side is going to gain. I have not met anyone who does not think there their should be a standard in place. The problem seems to be all of a sudden we are now breeding for color which has never been the number one goal of the assoc. The problem seems to be in the color white which everyone associates with the walker dogs so I guess if I cross in some Black & Tan its okay because it meets the color standard just a thought to consider when its all about color.
