Subject: Still may be a few more days. I'm heavily involved with a move for work and this past weekend was unproductive since I was away doing family stuff. Question inside (r)

In reply to: Schnee 's message, "Sorry to leave you guys hanging....RL took an odd twist....It may be a few days. *sigh* Believe me, I probably want this thing done way more than you guys, lol. :)" on 04:10:05 08/16/01 Thu

Went sailing on Friday...had a blast.

So my question is...Why does Mikey, the control freak, enjoy sailing? Is he attracted to the struggle to stay in control of a craft that is propelled by wind and water? To control what cannot be fully controlled? Or does he find a thrill in being so close to being out of control? To be at the will of the elements. Actually I found sailing pretty fascinating, since Bill (coworker) took the time to explain how a sailboat works, etc.

I'm considering making an adjustment to the last few chapters, though it probably works either way. Spending the day on the Chesapeake around Annapolis has me querying whether that would not be a better locale for M/N.

Any thoughts?
