I have had the rare oportunity of having seen season five before seeing the other four. It gives you a unigue perspective on the charecters.
As much as I adore RD's portrayal of the dark, flawed, and intence Michael. I never could understand how Nikita could never stop forgiving him. Personaly after the Jurgin thing (I always hated Jurgin) when she basicaly gave him the cold shoulder, I cheered. I thought she would make him fight for her a little more. Then when she found out he was married, they never realy dealt with that. Even PW in an interview said that she was disipointed that they did not let her get angry about it.
I have to admit I am a HR and could not imagine there not being love in some form between the two. Even I can see how skewed the picture was. Michael was always no matter how horrific his actions simply excused becouse he was "conflicted". Nikita on the other hand was always seen as nieve becouse she saw peaple not as colateral but human beings, not perfect but not not hopeless. She saw what needed to be fixed and did her best to change things.
I realy believe that if Michael was deserving enough of her love that he would see how couragous and difficult what she did was. He of all peaple should know how hard it is to keep a secret from the one you love and how painful it is to let them go, trying to make them happy.
