In reply to: Sanlin 's message, "Aha... :-D I'm glad to see this. :-D (r)" on 15:55:31 04/01/01 Sun

As you know even after I had finished the piece, I had many quams about it (because of the poem) The serious subject of the poem and the empathy it tends to arouse, would tend to disqualify it for use in fanfiction. However, because of those very qualities I felt that it was perfect for the character which I wanted to create. :-)

And then, there's Beth. I have always been a very private person. So private, that the several times I have tried to keep a diary, I wrote in code (which I can no longer read)LOL! and even then, never wrote down my *real* feelings and thoughts. (It read more like an itenerary) Imagine the irony of me being paired with Beth, who delights in first person present and revealing all. *!!!*

Michael. It really can't be summed up any better than this:
"There's something about Mikey when he's feral, agitated, and dangerous that gets the heart pumping, that's for sure. :-P There's just something unspeakably delicious about that character when his voice gets thick with emotion and he has Nik pinned against a wall, or something, while giving her the 'third degree' with those eyes of his... Yum. ;-P"

You hit the nail on the head with that one, Sanlin. That's the Michael I watch and the Michael I write about (even when he's not being *feral*. I feel that its always there, hidden. I try to let aspects of Michael's personality develop within the confines of the story without actually making changes in his personality or in his character.

We do rarely get to see the full range and depth of his emotions, but in such a strong character, the depth is definitely there. (And I'm so glad) *wg* I tend to want to push him to the limit, just to see what he will do. KWIM?
