I'm not sure why, but what came to my mind with this scene revolved around Michael being faced with a 'new' decision of sorts.
From the time he was taken to Section, Michael resigned himself to the fact that he was dead to his sister. Other than
surveillance from a distance, I don't think he would ever have thought or wanted to approach her. Now that he's 'free' I think
there's something in him that has pushed aside his resignation to this situation. Now it's a more obvious hurt that he has to remain
away from her and her family.
