Does anyone else know about the way the proms advertising is run? Apparently a company called Cabbell Publishing in Wimbledon runs the show : the more money big business can pay for advertising the more perks they get.. Cabbell gives away Free last night tickets to middle marketing managers who are willing to spend their companies budgets on full colour pages.. I wonder how many company bosses and ordinary Joe Public are aware of this?... Cabbell does very nicely using this little back-hander system by all accounts. Isn't it time the BBC stopped this inherently unfair practice? It's a slap in the face for all true Proms fans who try to get last night tickets and the beeb is supposed to be a little more equitable than this.. What say you guys?
