Queues are generally considered long when the two Day queues join up at the far ends. There are no records for the longest queues, because the stewards go down them advising people near the end that they have no chance of getting in. I've heard of 3-400 being turned away, but that's just the stewards' estimate, and as the numbers allowed in the promming areas can vary the greatest number turned away may not imply the greatest number attempting to queue.
