I did say an alternative would be to change the format but to be blunt, that is going to be difficult if Saturday coincides with the funerals of what appears to be thousands of people. I would be the first to stand up for not letting these terrorists cancel what is innocent music making but the last night cannot be the Last Night as I have known it for year without being a party and we have nothing to celebrate just now, thats all I was trying to say. For myself tonight I don't feel like a party, how much better to finish with the Verdi Requiem or similar.
