Subject: Saturday 4/6 - Irwin & Hidden Harbor

Made the rounds this afternoon.

Irwin Prairie was pretty loaded with GC Kinglets, and other semi-interesting sightings included Brown Creeper, Fox Sparrow, Field Sparrow, and about 3 pairs of Easter Bluebirds. (A high for me at that location.) I had hoped to report the area had none of the vagrants we've discussed before, but unfortunately on my way back to the parking lot, I found them roaming around.

Greg noted one Loon at Hidden Harbor yesterday, and this afternoon there were 6. (my thanks to the couple who finally directed me to the best viewing location.) The lake also held a couple of Horned Grebes, and many Red-breasted Mergs. The east pond held the usual suspects.

Brian Z, a couple of the Loons were within 20 feet of shore, so get your camera gear out there!
