Adding to my prior post, I wonder what exactly you don't like about the Columbia venue other than the obvious disparity in size between Columbia's Levien Gymnasium and Brooklyn's Barclay Center. There isn't much difference between Levien and Yale's John Lee Amp. and for that matter, most of the other Ivy League schools. Of course, Princeton's Gym and Penn's Palestra are much larger, but it would be patently absurd and unfair to hold the Tournament only at those two abodes. Incidentally, it must have been very difficult for the Columbia Men's Basketball Team players to watch the
Championship Game today. Our Men's Team finished near the
bottom of the Ivy League with a a 4-10 record under one of the worst performing coaches in the United States. It is a mystery to every Columbia Basketball Fan why our Athletic Director Peter Pilling has not terminated him years ago. Watching the Ivy League Tournament from the sidelines has to be a painful experience for the Columbia players. Mr. Pilling, as Columbia's AD has an obligation explain to Columbia fans why he has not terminated the Men's Basketball Coach. Absent his replacing the coach this week, he needs to give an immediate full and reasonable written explanation to Columbia Fans as to why he is not doing so.

“Other than the disparity in size” ?? You must be joking.

Why din’t you tell us about how for a tripleheader on Saturday they scheduled locker room and press facilities and friends locations and league offices and….

Minimum requirement: Stabler at Lehigh, a fabulous neutral facility with 8000 seats designed to handle the EIWA. Or, a step up to either Barclay’s or The Rock in Newark, smack on the train lines from anywhere in the Northeast.

Go big or go home.
