 I am somewhat shocked that Princeton will be replacing Ron Fogarty as HC of men’s hockey. His record, other than an ECAC title and NCAA berth in 2018, was mediocre. But outside of Cahoon and Gadowsky, all of his predecessors had mediocre records, going back decades. Even Cahoon had a losing overall record. Of course, eventually most were let go. But history demonstrates that MIH is not a sport that we will excel in and more losing than would be acceptable in other sports would still get the coach by. I guess the AD thinks we can do significantly better since so many of our other teams do. But I wonder who he finds for this task.
