Harvard field hockey vs. Syracuse at UConn Friday, Princeton vs. BC at St. Joe’s. No surprise.

Princeton soccer win in ILT pretty much assured no one else would get in, and they didn’t. Tigers play at UVa Friday.

Interesting that Ivy men have three teams in the top 50, the women only one. It’s entirely possible for three of the men’s ILT teams to make NCAAs.

On Sunday the Princeton women defeated the Brown women 2-0 in soccer. The Lady tigers played great. For the last four years the Brown women have been IL champions and have had Princeton's number. But with the departure of Raphino, Selenfreund, and Allen, you knew that wasn't going to happen this year. But this takes nothing away from Princeton's great performance. They showed tremendous teamwork as they constantly threatened to score by working the ball towards the goal with several trailers waiting to pounce. They were just as good on defense as they never let Brown close to their goal. I wish them the best in the tournament. They are a great representative of the IL. And a word to the Brown women, with five freshmen starting it was a very good effort and best of luck next year.
