Columbia was picked for dead last; if the stars align Columbia can wind up in a first place tie. And all of this while losing 6 starters, including the starting QB, an all Ivy DE, an all Icy center and four other opening game starters to season ending injuries. Still a big hurdle—beating a good Cornell team and hoping that Yale beats Harvard. Stovall’s defense was very good and will have a huge challenge on Saturday. Poppe, Stovall and first year OC Seitu Smith deserve a lot of credit. But credit goes to Al and Mark for putting a lot of the pieces in place. A healthy Bryson Canty looks like a legitimate NFL draft prospect.
