In reply to: Ivy Inquisitor 's message, "State of The League" on 19:30:33 12/26/24 Thu

I am reminded of Garrison Keillor's pride and joy Lake Wobegone, where everyone is above average.

Sparman: I appreciate the humorous reference used in your response. Multiple contenders is a testament to the quality of competitiveness in the Ivy League. I’m 100% fine with split champions but having three on a regular basis may soon get old. Under ZERO circumstances should the Ivy have a conference championship game. By sticking to the top finisher as League champion keeps the significance on the regular season- something that’s recently been lost in major college football. Back to Sparman’s reference it’s possible to have four teams share the Ivy Conference championship.
