Thank you for the explanation. Thank you very much. I'm a big fan of studying and learning how excellent coaches build a program culture. I think successful coaches usually explicitly and overtly try to build a culture that they proactively define in their own heads -- a vision, if you will, as Megan says.

Meanwhile, most corporate leaders sort of let the company culture develop as a side effect or fringe benefit while plans are drawn, factories are built and products are sold. It just falls out during the ordinary course of business.

It might sound dumb, but I'm even trying to pay more attention to the culture am I building in my own family. We're a team, right? And whether it's explicitly built or simply arises on its own, most teams have a culture or a personality. We might as well try to shape it.
