To that end, the four Ivy teams that play OOC in their "week 5" (which is week EIGHT for the rest of FBS/FCS) would be well-served to swap that OOC game with their week 4 Ivy game. In Yale's case, that would push the Dartmouth game to one week later (Cornell vs. Harvard is the other week 4 league game). Doing so would alleviate the current problem of finding teams that aren't already playing a conference schedule in their eighth week of their season. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

The difference is planning a schedule a few years ahead vs. last minute scrambling. And there were other factors like making adjustments in order to schedule UConn. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
