 In the post game press conference last night Cornell players and HC spoke about regrouping for next weekend so they are expecting a bid. QU as regular season league champs— I’d be surprised if they are denied a bid even though they did not last as long in this tourney as Cornell did. Has the ECAC had 3 of the 16 slots before?

To further answer your initial question: this is apparently the first ECAC final for DC. That surprised me, this was our fifth and we have rarely been a top team.
