Remember, this is the league’s opening weekend vs opponents who have already played 3 games. Unlike other sports, OOC SOS means nothing. There is no way any team other than the League champion makes the postseason. The league was always under ranked in favor of those eligible for the postseason. That bias will likely continue. So, with Harvard playing a competitive Brown squad in week #2, the optimal is a scrimmage at home. I hope the traveling to Florida doesn’t end up being a negative in advance of next weekend. He appears to be behind only Bascon this year., unless he continues to fumble the ball, which he did early and in the red zone. Still, scored 2 TD’s. I think Bascon only played the opening drive when he scored. 4 other RB’s got far more carries, with a couple looking good.

But because other teams began starting the season earlier and we insisted in opening the third week of September, we literally didn't have anyone else to scrimmage except each other. Eventually, the league stopped doing it.

I do not know what the balance is. But I do agree that Harvard can do better than Stetson.
