Say what? Lafayette definitely had its moments, but turnovers don’t count in evaluating teams’ play? The pick 6, btw, was a team in its 5th game throwing short to a receiver running long. Pretty badly blown play for a team at this stage of its season supposedly outplaying its opponent, imo.

Jury is still out on this Princeton team, but this was a good bounce back game, with a lot more work to do.

I think there is a kernel of truth in Jerry's observations. Not that L outplayed Pr but Tigers had a few beneficial plays (threading tight passes) and calls at opportune moments that might not happen versus a team playing well.

Greene is great - hope football does not get in the way of a likely all-Ivy, or better, lacrosse season. As noted, OL and DL will be key going forward.

And what looks like a soft zone "prevent" defense they play, typically at the end of a half, is fairly worthless. I don't know who is calling for them to use it in the first place, or if players are not playing it as coached, but it never works.

After an uninspired performance versus mediocre Georgetown, I expect Columbia will be very energized next weekend.
