Well- i know that asking how much a boat costs is like asking how high is up??

But i was asking in the context that Jay proposed-- that is, for a boat that is pretty much a functioning hull-- a hull in good shape, and probably a workable set of sails and rigging, but one that will need new rigging and sails to be considered in fine shape...

It seems that older hulls in decent shape are pretty cheap these days, given the economy, and I was curious if the "dollar-a-pound" rule of thumb seemed realistic.
