At the harbor today in Bellingham there were two San Juan 24s for sale. One for $4500 and one for $6500. Both had working outboards and the more expensive one is supposedly in sail away condition with lots of gear and good sails. I imagine both could be had for $1000 or more less. The Pearson was around $5500 as I recall. I'm not a fan of the San Juans with their capsize ratio of 216, but the pearson might be OK. These seem to be pretty typical offerings in this area.
