Subject: Engineless sailing about Vancouver Island accounts?

Heyall!

I got this lofty idea about seeing some old-growth forests by Queen Charlotte Strait and on Vancouver Island with an engineless sailboat. Matt Nelson, mentioned in Jay's book, I guess has similar dreams: www.thefluidlife.com. It may help for either of us to get crew, if it's known something like it can be or has been done. I'm convinced to try it now, but it's getting crew that's a challenge. My proposal (poppdbubb.blogspot.com) was mentioned on a number of rosters now, and I haven't gotten much so far, though I now know of Brent Swain, who did something like it. Yall are welcome to speak your mind on any aspect of my blog, I can take slander.

There's a lot of accounts of kayaks out there, but when it comes to keelboat cruising in pure sail form, are there any informative references for others who'd like to go? Carson? Allen Farrel? Tristan Jones? The Pardeys?

If I could chat to get first or second hand accounts for beer or something more, great! I'm in Seattle, and could travel a bit.

Thanks abunch!
