I agree with most of Corie's road rules, but I'll have to say #6 bothers me a little. I don't know about Georgia, but in SC, it is illegal to pass a stopped policeman in the right lane at the speed limit. We are required to slow down or change lanes if the road has more than one lane in each direction. In fact, that specific law was highlighted on our local news in the past month when a Greenville police officer was killed by a driver going the speed limit on I-85. And he wasn't the first this year. Maybe I misunderstood the situation to which Corie was referring, but I think it is often a good idea to slow down when you see blue lights on the side of the road.
