"Beep! Beep!Beep!Beep! THUMP!!!!!!!!" I slammed my hardened fist onto my alarm clock. I quikly sat up to see what time it was. It was 5:30 am. I got out of bed and ate a quick, but healthy breakfast and clambered back up the stairs. I got dressed into my old barn clothes, and pulled my long, almost blonde hair into a ponytail. I stretched and yawned abit, until I remebered to check the mares in the broodmare barn. I quikly ran downstairs, grabbed all the coolers, and blankets that I washed the previous night from the trial and I ran out to the mares barn. All the mares poked their sleepy heads out of their stall and managed tp let out a nicker or grunt to tell me they were hungry. Going down the aisle way, I checked every stall for new bundles of joy. None so far today.I go up to one of my fav mares, Optical Illusions, and give her and her foal a pat.The little colt nipped my finger, and ran behind his mothers legs as if to be playing hide and go seek. "Sorry Guys! No time to play today!" I said through giggles. I fed all the mares, and fed all my horses of Jump For Joy Stables. I hurried up, to let the mares and foals outside to play. After I finished, I walked up to my beautiful, and gorgeous mare Dream Weaver, and I brought her on to the cross ties. I clipped her on to them, and began grooming her thoroughly, making sure to keep the dust off her. I picked her shiney hooves out, and I mucked her stall. I brought out her jumping tack, and I tacke her up.She nodded her heaD AS if to say: Finally! I really wanted to jump today! I lead her to the arena, and lunged her a bit to warm up. She played for a minute, then settles down into a beautiful, long, and rounded canter. I slowed her to a walk, then took the lunge line to the side of the arena, and mounted up. We did some catering, lengthening and shortening strides, and then we set up a couple grids, to work on. They were all a different vaiety to keep her well prepared. We did it very nicely, tucking her knees well under her and clearing all but one when she stumbled in a hole in the arena. I stopped her, and felt her leg, and there was no heat, or anything, and she seemed fine so we cantered off to the next set of grids: one, two, three, and we cleared the last jump with room to spare. What a good girl! I cooled her down, then untacked her, and took her for a long walk on the beach( Our stables are located beside one) She enjoyed the water splashing over her legs, and sea foam all over her body. I brought her back, and dried her off, wiping the sea foam off her body. I Combed her mane and tail out, then put a pultice on her leg. I gave her clean water and fresh hay, and put her back into her stall. I stood there for a minute, admiring her beauty, but then went to the Stallion barn, to get Alabaz."Bye Girl!"I said, leaving the barn.
