He spotted her by the fireplace the moment he walked through the doors, and a bright smile lit his dark features, but he headed to the counter first to get himself a coffee - loosening his tie and unbuttoning the top button of his shirt while he waited. When he joined her, he leaned down to kiss her forehead gently and then dropped down next to her, an arm stretching across the back of the couch. She grinned, one leg tucked up underneath as she looked over at him, offering him a bite of her muffin, popping it into his his mouth for him as she nodded. "Yep, this little place is the reason you don't get dinner on time on Mondays." She grinned lightly, lifting one hand to her hair for a second. She still hadn't gotten used to it being so short, she had just gotten done the week before when their 'darling' daughter had gotten bubble gum stuck in her long blonde hair. It was kind of convenient though, not always having to pull it back and the almost two year toddler Josiah couldn't tug on it quite so harshly now. Her eyes drifted over him, a brow raising at him loosening his tie. "Don't loosen it all the way or your going to make me get up when you do the next time you want to wear it so I can retie it for you."
