He winked teasingly and broke a small smile as he watched her for a moment before shrugging again. "The same old sort of thing. Writing for the paper. Some magazine stuff. Still haven't come up with the money-maker bestselling novel yet though. I'll be sure to let you know when I do." He smiled at the mention of his friend, and crossed his arms slowly over his chest. "He's been busy with work and those girls of his, but he's hanging in there. He likes that sort of thing anyway - staying busy and whatnot.
