I found that my fish were reluctant to feed from the top of the tank so now I use sinking foods, catfish pellets etc which they have no problem with and will eat quite happily from the bottom of the tank.Also, I started out with live plants but because of the dimmed lighting conditions I have set up ( I use a Blue Moon tube to simulate night time) it was more of a challenge to look after the live plants so I gradually switched to all plastic, which I find better, especially if my fish have a bit of a panic attack its easier to re-plant them.>I have a 29 gallon tank glass aqaurium with 2 young
