Last year a company named Global Europ came into the fray and claimed they had taken over the company that has wound up. Some time this year Global Europ called the victim and threatened to sue him if he failed to pay the outstanding maintenance fees. Alternatively the company could help to void the contract if the victim could pay them 9.5k as legal fees etc. The victim refused & was not bothered until recently. This time the representative of Global Europ said they wanted to return the original contract to the victim. When the victim made the appointment the same thing happened - the victim was told that he would be sued if he did not pay up. Victim was called to make a decison on the spot. When the victim refused another staff at the office wrote on a piece of paper stating that the victim was aware of his liabilities and asked him to sign the acknowledgement. The victim refused and left the office with the staff fuming. When the victim asked for official proof about Global Europ taking over World Resorts, the staff refused. Be alert my friends of this new form of money-making strategy........ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

A contract is a binding agreement between 2 parties, if there is no third party clause (which timeshare contract normally don't have), no one can take over the agreement and sue you, which also means what Global Euro is doing is nothing but a hoax.. Think again, if WRI can transfer their rights to Global Euro without your knowledge, then you can also claim that you have transfer your membership to someone in ethopia without their approval. wahaha... ...
