It is really tight and they are smart. Hitting them on the lucky draw issue and getting them to close down eventually is no use becos we wont get our $ back. Its no point. We might incur a large amount of legal fees for nothing in the end becos we know nuts about fighting the cases. they have lawyers helping them to draft professional and solid contracts. my suggestion is to get friends who are lawyers to look at the contacts and see at least where we stand. at least we know can we win or can we not first. many complaints together might not help also. pls read other people's forum who have fought these cases. we should seek their advices. Where legal action is concerned, collective effort will help pool information, reduce cost and add credibility. Where the seller is concerned, collective effort will help increase the intimidation factor of the buyer. Maybe you can give details of where you heard of the lost cases, studying them can help others. In such cases, victors often have to sign "agreements of silence" when they get their money back. The success of such sales tactics is based on the average buyers psychy being gullible, easily intimidated, timid of confrontation, unresolute with action, individualistic, unwilling to coorperate and help others. I am certainly guilty of being gullible, but definitely not the others. Winning may not guarantee money back, but it will certainly help many others. I'm sure we can all find a little more selflessness from within. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
