Recently received a call from Global Europ for demanding for the $7000 outstanding payment. I did not receive any membership certificate and payment reminder from WRI during the four and half years. But it is too bad that I did not keep the termination letter for so long (anyway it was happened four and half years ago!). Will it be any potential liablility for my case if i igore their call? Thanks for advice. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: Wed, Jun 15 2005, 22:41:26 Hi amk If your contract was signed with World Resort International and if the company has already wound up, no other local companies can associate themselves with WRI to handle "outstanding cases" since at the point when you sign the contract it was not explicitly stated in the contract. Be sure you don't get fooled! I was almost fooled by another timeshare company but the sharing done in this forum helped me make a sound/wise decision. I was also threatened that they will issue lawyer letter to chase me for the balance and todate I've not received any and if I do, they will be in bigger trouble than they know or can foresee! Hope the above helps! Best of luck! former timeshare victim of Regency Leisure Development [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
