You're really full of shit on this, ST. The problem you have is you see every remark, every wisecrack, every negative response to what you post as an attempt to "bait" you. Nothing could be further from the truth.

It's my opinion that you are the troll. You demand responses even when none are forthcoming. If you, for example, post one of your tiresome "facts, evidence, proof" messages to Queer, and he does not respond for a day or so, sure as shit you will then post something to the effect, "Notice, everybody, how Queer refuses to provide facts, proof and evidence." And you'll do it again if he still doesn't respond. That's trolling, ST. You DEMAND a response and when you don't get it, you will try again and again by essentially saying that you have obliterated and annihilated as proven by the dearth of responses.

I, on the other hand, simply find the majority of your opinions to be shallow, narrow-minded, rigid and lacking in critical thought. I find your personality to be fragile, over-sensitive, egotistical, spoiled, infantile and self-important. My reaction is one of derision and disrespect. When I call you a troll, I am expressing my opinion (as covered above) and have NO desire for a response from you. Yet you will respond, then accuse me off baiting you.

In answer to your question, yes, you should let these things roll off your back. You have no reputation to uphold. Your standing in your community is not threatened by how anyone on the board "attacks" you. In fact, the reputation you have earned is that of a paranoid fool who attaches way too much of his self-esteem to crap he posts on the internet. You are your own troll, ST. You see bait where none exists, then you try and force others into endless threads about how unfair we all are and how it's the product of political partisanship.

It's not about your "politics," ST. Your politics are too shallow, knee-jerk and poorly expressed to warrant more than a passing wisecrack or sneer.

No, it's about your need, your DEMAND, to provoke, then cry like a bitch when you provoke ridicule.

Yeah, let it roll off your back, that's my advice. Who cares? Do you think people will respect you LESS if you stop pretending it's all about "defending" yourself? No way. It can't possibly get worse than it is. And you do it to yourself.

Why else do you think you find yourself in the same situation over and over, on board after board? Do you think it's because you have deep insight that people just don't want to acknowledge, so they torment you for being more analytical than they are? That's delusional. And wrong, totally wrong.
