You offer your support to Alan Mayze conditionally. I have learned over the years that all differences of opinion can only ever be resolved by compromise. The parties involved actually discussing the points that are of concern. This situation appears not to be different. People who stick rigidly to their own view present a scenario without solution.
In a hypothetical situation who would your"dream team" be?
I do not pretend to know all of those you have mentioned nor all of the matters to which you have made reference. As you appear to have a comprehensive awareness that perhaps most others do not, why not present your ideal solution?. At the very least it would allow a continuation of what has so far been a debate with dignity and respect. It would also allow those who are in a position to effect change, if that is in their mind, to read comments and ideas which might inspire and help. Just a thought.
