Clandestine City Government. Council drank the juice.
Dare to attend the meeting in person. Dare to point out irregularities. dare to ask legitimate questions:
What's the total value of all engineering "change orders" approved in 2023. Why aren't the contract changes capped? What's the status of Newburgh-Beacon Ferry dock when the lease expires.
What's the timeline on cleaning up the Marine Drive infrastructure mess? Can we get an on-site tour of what's being done/not done?
What's the conclusion on parking permits for those affected by meters in front of their living quarters?
What does Chief of Staff do? Who is the Community Outreach person? What is that job? Salary? for what?
Left-turn signals still aren't installed at Bway/Robinson.
Is the Mayor's economic development advisory team legally appointed? Where is it in the Charter?

Shouldn't a modern wastewater treatment plant use LESS space than the 1950's designs? Why are we losing precious public space?

Why isn't there a map of the Historic District on the wall outside of the Codes Department?

Can I blacktop my front yard so I can park there?

Ask anything about anything.

Then beware The Defiant Council Pit Bull. He who doth protest too much will viciously attack you. turn the focus to your ungrateful attitude, your ignorance of the facts, you the arrogant citizen.

the truth is locked up in a back room somewhere. It needs our help.
